This week has been pretty hectic with starting uni so I will try and post more but unfortunately sometimes there isn't enough hours in the day.

 

I Love this outfit combination!! Baggy t-shirt in devore fabric allows for a effortless combination with a pair of skinny jeans with the added edge of a pebble grey biker jacket.

Jacket its self total bargin, got it in the summer £25 down to £10 only size 8 it was a must have with no questions asked works with some much of my clothing.

 

Anyone else got any effortless combination they enjoy?? 

I have already become such a slack blogger not writing for a couple of days but I do have a good reason of packing my things up and moving back to uni as third year which starts tomorrow. SCARY!! where has the last 2 years gone ??!

This year I am planning on basing most of my studio practice work on the beauty, individuality and variation that bug/insects have to offer. Through out the summer I have been collecting resources that could in time prove an asset for development.
As you can see below a colourful array of jewelled scarabs. These to me just looking at them provide me with ideas based on colour and design. 

As you can probably tell I am connecting with my chosen theme and hope to produce some unique work that showcases my talent and what can be produced by looking closely at what some of us find to be creepy crawlies...

First off an apology for my face in the first photo as you can tell i am not the best at a #selfie.

Shopping day today you can never have too much clothing :).

 I love this dress brought it last year and can work with ankle boots, heavy boyfriend cardies, blazers with the added bonus of dressing it up for a family occasion with accessories etc.

Even though i am channeling the ever so common monochrome trend a pop of colour can just change an outfit for me whether done with jewellery, shoes or a must have autumn/winter scarf it can just bring something old back to life. 

A blog has to start somewhere. so here it is.......

Fashion to many is a way of life!

Its what you think about constantly from the minute you get up to the minute you sleep. Looking at magazines, on the vogue website or studying at university many of us are looking at the bigger picture. how can I make what I am doing a career???

This blog will be a thought path of mine from designers creations, clothing, what I am personally wearing, opinions and posts containing my own work on the eminent final and third year of my fashion/textiles degree.
